Over 60s Mailing list

If people want to register interest in our over 60s work or the Company of Elders they are welcome to join our Over 60s mailing list by providing their contact details. These can be emailed to us at connect@sadlerswells.com.

 

For over 60s who want to try a dance class. All levels welcome.

Regular weekly outreach ballet classes in Islington

Sadler's Wells runs two outreach dance classes in Islington for over 55s on Mondays. These weekly ballet and pilates-based dance sessions are suitable for those with some previous experience of dance and aim to improve your fitness levels and help the over 55s enjoy the benefits of a more active lifestyle. The classes are run in partnership with Age Concern Islington.


Locations:
1.00pm – 2.15pm at Claremont Day Centre, 24-27 White Lion Street, N1 9PD (Tube: Angel)
2.45pm – 4.00pm at St Lukes Day Centre, 90 Central Street, EC1V 8AQ (Tube: Old Street)

Booking: £2 per week /£1 for Islington residents. No need to prebook. For further information contact Age Concern Islington on 020 7281 6018.

The Lilian Baylis Arts Club is open to anyone aged 60 or over who wants to take part in the arts. Members have the chance to meet dancers, choreographers, designers, singers and other artists and attend workshops provided by guest artists.

Most meetings are held at Sadler’s Wells on Friday afternoons at 2pm. The activities respond to the programming in the main theatre including lectures, demonstrations and visits to other art venues. For more information call Sarah Baker on 0207 863 8093 (Tuesdays and Fridays only)
